Delta Industries Inc, is a family owned business in Portland Oregon. We are a supplier of industrial and commercial pumps and motors. Our relationship with our customers and vendors started back in 1973 with integrity, honesty and knowledge that you can count on today. History
Delta Industries, Inc. was formed in 1973 by David Foteff and Jack Muth as an alternative source of pumps and pump parts for the pulp and paper industry. The company soon developed a solid reputation among its customers for a commitment to local inventory, customer service and manufactures representation. In 1974 Delta teamed up with Warren Pumps for local representation and service center. Gallagher Pumps was added in 1978. In 1986 Ahlstrom purchased Warren Pumps and chose Delta for representation of both product lines. Shortly after Delta combined forces with Roto-Jet Pump and ARO pump manufactures. The early 1990’s Delta represented Durco pumps. In the mid 1990’s ITT AC pumps were added to Deltas lineup. A time later, ITT purchased Goulds Pump and they chose to absorb AC pumps into Goulds pumps thus consolidating distribution. This again opened another door for Delta and we entered into an agreement with ABS Pumps as the Northwest stocking distributor and service center. In 1999 Delta reentered a distribution agreement with Durco/Flowserve. The Durco/Flowserve arrangement ended when Flowserve purchased IDP and consolidated distribution. Sulzer Process Pumps (formerly Ahlstrom Pumps) contracted with Delta a second time to be their pacific northwest stocking distributor. In 2007 Delta joined forces with Versa-Matic Pumps and the Ampco pump companies that have proven to be great companies to represent in the Pacific Northwest.
Today our product lines are sold by our experienced sales staff and serviced at our full service machine shop. Delta caries a large verity of OEM parts in its warehouse. There have been many struggles over the years, but through hard work and the help of our customers and manufactures, Delta has persevered and prospered. In the last five years our company has enjoyed substantial growth into new marketplaces like food processing and general industrial markets while maintaining our pulp and paper presence. Delta Industries is a solid company with an experienced staff and a great reputation for customer service. We are not perfect but always strive to be fair and provide our customers with extra value and fair pricing.
